At 808 Beetlebusters, our roots run deep in Hawaii’s soil. 🌴 Our team brings decades of experience in coconut tree trimming, planting, and maintenance, as well as a strong background in both residential and commercial landscaping. We’re proud to blend local knowledge with global expertise—from Maui to Sri Lanka and beyond.

Founder: Jon Brunold AKA ‘Jonny B’
With over 25+ years of hands-on experience in landscaping, coconut tree management, and luxury property care, Jon has called Hawaii home since 1994 living in Kona , Lahaina, Poipu, Kaimuki . He is the owner of RJB Venture LLC (Lahainas first all-electric Lahaina landscaping company), Jonny Beez corp/LLC (home and condo maintenance), Home Depot Pro Installer and Property manager for luxury vacation homes across the islands. P/T Fishing Tech Pro, Sailor and Captain
Maui Arborist: Frankie C
Frankie brings more than 25+ years of experience climbing and caring for palms across Maui’s resorts and homes—from the sandy beaches to the lush upcountry. His deep knowledge of local palms helps keep our island landscapes healthy and beautiful.
Agriculture Consultant: Mr. G (Brasil) Gideau
Mr. G is a Engenheiro Agrônomo (Agronomic Engineer) with over 15 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. He has worked in Hawaii agriculture since 2015, bringing science-based solutions to our projects.
Sri Lanka Team: Mr. Dishan Sayakara
Hailing from the renowned “Coconut Triangle” of Kurunegala District, Mr. Dishan grew up surrounded by coconut palms. He guides us in building innovative tree traps inspired by his childhood in Sri Lanka—like the “birdhouse style trap” he jokes is “Hotel California: you check in, but you can never leave.” His practical knowledge of organic pest control is invaluable. We would love a alternate to Insecticide, it is working must protect the pollinators.

Born and raised across Samoa, the Hawaiian Islands, North Shore, Lā‘ie, and the West Side, our crew brings the heart and hard work of the islands to every job. Their dedication ensures every project is done with aloha and excellence.
